Mario the Maker Magician
"EPK"

It’s magic through the lens of the Maker Movement! Touring performer Mario the Maker Magician brings you a family theater experience full of homespun MAGIC, handmade ROBOTS, and modern SLAPSTICK. Fast-paced, interactive, and hilarious… he’s “magic’s punk rock Peter Pan philosopher." Mario has appeared on Sesame Street, NBC’s Universal Kids, and even live on tour with David Blaine, who calls him “the best kids magician in the world!!”

More Information

First Fridays for Families is made possible by the Custer Foundation and the Nugent Foundation, with additional support from the City of Columbus. Thanks to our generous sponsors, this program is free and open to everyone!

POP-UP

We invite you to join us at Studio 207 for a new speaker series: Small Talk/s

Small Talk/s features local creatives telling their stories. Through this program, CAAC aims to highlight the varied and circuitous paths our local creatives take in their careers. The format for Small Talk/s is casual, fun and flexible. The audience is encouraged to ask questions and interject throughout the talk. Humor and irreverence is welcome and encouraged.

Join us the second Wednesday of each month, March–August, for this new program! Refreshments at 5:30 pm; Small Talk/s at 6:00 pm.

  • May 11: Jamie Goldsborough
  • June 8: Louis Joyner
Small Talk/s is presented by CAAC in collaboration by Echo Bravo, a creative collective working in Columbus.
