PAA Cougar Tracks

September 30 to October 6 , 2022

Dear Parents:

Thank you to all of you who have supported the Cougars Teams as they have played today.  We have a great group of students who are learning great sportsmanship along with their athletic skills.  We can be very proud of the way our teams play and the witness they are to others.

Five of our students attended the Pacific Union Conference Youth Conference last weekend and had a great time meeting new friends, singing hours of fun songs, and enjoying a deeper connection with God at Leoni Meadows.  We can also be very proud of our student leaders.

We have had interesting discussions on campus about Strengths this week and we hope those discussions will continue at home.  Thank you, to those of you who have had conversations with your student(s) about their strengths.  Many have found these strengths to be a surprise, others say it reflects exactly who they are.  We are encouraging students to find ways to develop their strengths - these strengths often help guide students into careers that fit them well.

Here are a few questions you can ask to learn more about the strengths you student has:
1.  Which of your strengths brings you joy when you use the strength?
2.  Where are you using this strength now?
3.  How can you lead and serve with this strength?
4.  Is there something you would like to contribute to our world using one of your strengths?

I will be with students at the Shakespeare Festival for the next two days and am looking forward to enjoying time with them.

Blessings to each of you in the weekend ahead,

Linda Becker
