Over 40 films are hitting our screens for Doctober this year and Max Lowe's Torn kicks off the festival tonight at 6 o'clock with the director in attendance.

Michael Falter, our programmer of 20+ years will be attending opening night as well for his last Doctober as Pickford's programmer. Join us from October 1st to the 28th!

PIckford Film Center's annual celebration of the year's best in documentary film-making is back. Thi syear's festival features over 40 films from all over the world.

THE EYES OF TAMMY FAYE

Directed by Michael Showalter and written by Abe Sylvia, the film depicts the history of controversial televangelists Tammy Faye Bakker and Jim Bakker, as portrayed by Jessica Chastain (who also produces the film) and Andrew Garfield.

ADDITIONAL VACCINATION INFORMATION
 
Every screening at the Pickford Film Center will have a fully vaccinated audience.

WHO’S FULLY VACCINATED:

A patron vaccinated against COVID-19 by a two-dose mRNA vaccine (such as Moderna and Pfizer), or a single dose vaccine (such as Johnson & Johnson), is considered “fully vaccinated” two weeks after the final dose of vaccine.
 
The following are acceptable as proof of full vaccination:
  • Vaccination card (which includes name of person vaccinated, type of vaccine provided and date last dose administered)
  • a photo of a vaccination card
  • documentation of vaccination from a healthcare provider electronic health record or state Immunization Information System record.
  • Self-reported vaccination records that are not verified by a health care provider cannot be accepted.
 
EXCEPTIONS:
  • Children under the age of 12 are permitted without proof of vaccination as long as they are with fully vaccinated adults
  • Those who are unable to receive the vaccine for medical purposes should contact the Pickford about accommodations
