2016 St. Georges Day Awards – FINAL REMINDER
We are of course aware that with Compass being out of action, submitting SGDA's this year may be more difficult. However we are sure you have been planning them for some time, and the recent note in Focus Plus will help with any queries relating to eligibility, time in scouting etc.etc.

It is important we get all nominations into County Office by Friday 24th July latest so they can be processed by the County Awards Board in time for the Gilwell deadline of 1st September.

Further information relating to the submission of Awards can be found on scouts.org and many DC'S attended the Award workshop in April – see also attached aide memoir which may help relating to criteria and links below.

Applying for awards
When applying for awards for volunteers, please continue to use the current forms TSA07/CGM for Meritorious Conduct and Gallantry or TSA06/GS for Good Service Awards. The Awards Team can look up any information you need to help you complete the forms and can issue you with individual records which show historic service, previous awards, Wood Badges and also the total years’ service complete. The team can be contacted directly on awards@scouts.org.uk or on 0208 4337192/7193.
