E-NEWS BULLETIN - Monday 18th May 2015
Congratulations to...

* 35 CSA Gold holders who received their Certificates at a great Hampshire event on Tuesday from Jagz Bharth, Deputy UK Youth Commissioner. Congratulations also to Dean Styles and Izzy Holland who compered the event. Lots of smiling Scouts plus some awesome selfles.
* Chris Slater who completed a mountain marathon. fundraising to help the survivors of the earthquake in Nepal. 26 miles in the Lake District mountains sounds hard enough walking, let alone running it - amazing.
* 1st Sandleheath on a amazing year of activities, a great AGM, and a brilliant community feel to the Scout Group.
* 130 Scouts who took part in the Expedition Challenge weekend in the New Forest, based at Ferny Crofts. Nobody got lost permanently, most people did not sink in the bogs, and everyone ignored the midges in the evening...
* Jamboree Leaders and IST who took part in the All Adult weekend at Gilwell with hundreds of colleagues - hearing the latest news, packing the crates, and swapping kit so it fits.
