Opportunities Abroad for Engineering Majors!

CWRU engineering majors can study abroad and earn credits towards their degree without delaying their graduation! Studying abroad provides an excellent opportunity to develop and strengthen skills that employers look for while gaining exposure to global issues and the ability to adapt to unfamiliar environments.

There are multiple options for engineers to expand their worldview while at CWRU such as short-term, faculty-led programs which last one to three weeks. Upcoming programs include Global Health Design in Uganda which goes abroad during spring break, Global Issues, Health and Sustainability in India during spring (May abroad) and Science and Technology in France: Yesterday and Today in the summer.

Long-term study abroad programs allow engineering students to enroll at institutions around the world and transfer courses back to CWRU. There are various destinations available through the Global Engineering Education Exchange or GE3

Engineers can also do research, co-ops or internships abroad. Anyone interested in these opportunities should visit the DELPP Office
