Photo Contest Now Open!
The Fifth Annual Study Abroad Photo Contest is open! Anyone who studied abroad during Spring semester 2015, Spring (May Abroad) 2015, May Term 2015, Summer 2015, Summer I or II 2015, Fall semester 2015, Winter Break 2015-2016, or Spring Break 2016 is welcome to participate. There will be five winners total and several opportunities to win cash prizes!
Students can enter photos into four different categories: 1) Cultural Selfie; 2) Landscapes, Bridges & Buildings; 3) The World is Your Classroom; and 4) General. Each category winner will receive $50 - $75! In addition, we will award a $50 prize to the photo that receives the most likes on our Facebook page, and $75 to the overall winner of the contest. One lucky entrant could win as much as $300!
Look through your old photos or plan on taking a new one if still abroad! Photos should encourage CWRU students to take advantage of study abroad programs, and celebrate the international experience of students who have done so! Meet International Delegates at Cleveland Art Museum's MIX event on March 4 at 5:00 pm
Join the Center for International Affairs and Global Cleveland to welcome and network with 15 international delegates from around the world during the March 4 MIX at the Cleveland Art Museum. A monthly event, MIX offers a fun atmosphere filled with music, art and mingling. The international delegates are on campus and in Cleveland to learn about Higher Education and Business Partnerships/Innovation. Tickets to MIX are $8 in advance, or $10 at the door. CWRU, Study Abroad, and the Zika Virus
CWRU and the Center for International Affairs have released statements regarding the Zika Virus and its impact on the campus community and study abroad. The Center for International Affairs strongly encourages students with study abroad plans to consult the CDC.
