Spend Fall Semester

   There is still time for CWRU students to apply to spend fall semester 2020 or academic year 2020-2021 abroad! The application deadline for both options is coming up on March 1! 
   Do not miss the opportunity to boost your personal, academic, and career growth by spending a semester enhancing your skills in another country!
   Research shows that students who study abroad are better equipped for the workforce and perform better professionally than college graduates who did not study abroad.

Study Abroad Scholarships
  • Sogang University Scholarship
    • Sogang University in Seoul, South Korea is offering a scholarship to select students at CWRU that would cover airfare, a monthly stipend and settling-in expenses. Please email for further information and eligibility requirements.
  • Rosenthal Scholarship
    • Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel is offering a scholarship to select students at CWRU ranging from $500 - $7,500. Please email for further information and eligibility requirements. 
  • Gilman Scholarship
    • The Gilman Scholarship Program broadens the student population that studies and interns abroad by supporting undergraduates who might not otherwise participate due to financial constraints. Applications are due Tuesday, March 3. 
  • Freeman-Asia Scholarship
    • The Freeman Awards for Study in Asia provide scholarships for U.S. undergraduate students with demonstrated financial need to study abroad in East or Southeast Asia. Applications are due March 10 for summer and April 1 for fall.

    • Join SOURCE and the Office of Education Abroad to explore all the different ways CWRU students can complete research abroad. Hear from fellow CWRU students who have completed research abroad about their experiences and ask them questions!
