Summer is here! It's the perfect time for you to reflect and relax - you deserve it!
As we wrap up our school year, our BizWorld.org team would like to acknowledge all of your hard work, passion and dedication in the classroom. Many of you have chosen to teach our BizWorld.org programs in the Spring, before the end of school year. Thank you for taking the important steps of empowering your students to become 21st century thinkers and for inspiring them to become the architects of their futures. You are equipping them with the real-life experiences that will give them the confidence to do extraordinary things!
Spring was a particularly inspiring season for us as our staff had the opportunity to teach in classrooms in our local area.
We were particularly thrilled to teach BizMovie in two classrooms of 6th graders last month at Ford Elementary School. A donor made it possible for us to join the teachers at this innovative school and the students delighted us with their enthusiasm for learning about business and digital movie making. The school day ended but the kids didn’t want to leave. That sums it up!
In addition, we recently piloted a "social innovation challenge" with six wonderful educators across the nation. BizWorld graduates started and ran successful businesses and raised over $2500 to give back to charitable causes of their choice. What stars they are!
