Project C.U.R.E. Kits for Kids

Hooray for another successful Kits for Kids event in support of Project C.U.R.E.!

Just a couple of days before this event, we weren't sure if we'd make our goal of 50 kits. But, our heroes (and their parents) rallied to meet our goal. We collected enough donations to fill 50 bags with first aid and medical supplies that will be delivered to developing countries around the world. Children decorated the bags and wrote thoughtful messages sending love to children around the world.

Thanks go out to many people and organizations for this one, including parent member Brooke Rakow who stepped up to make this event a success! Thanks also to Intercambio Uniting Communities for the use of their space again.

Support the Longmont Humane Society

Help us spread some love to our furry friends at the Longmont Humane Society.

Co-host Chelsea Pohl, founder of
Little Locheart Arts in Boulder, will be leading our group in a project focused on creating cat toys that will be donated to the residents of the Humane Society.

All we ask of your little heroes is to bring at least 1 item from the
Humane Society's wish list and be ready to create and have fun!

We encourage you and your families to stay after the event to visit with a cat or two and/or walk a dog. They would love the extra attention from your great kids! Check out the
evite for details!

Bringing Back Beauty to Jamestown

We heard about the Bringing Back Beauty to Jamestown initiative and were inspired to lend a little helping hand to our neighbors who've had a tough time since the flood. The project is still in the works, but we're hoping to decorate some pots and plant them with flowers which will be delivered to Jamestown residents. We could use more help pulling this together, so if you have any ideas, please email us!

For our June event we will be celebrating the Summer Solstice and the power of the sun! We have a few ideas up our sleeves and welcome any ideas you might have. Just let us know!

Want a Raising Little Heroes tshirt to wear to events and around town?  Let us know and we will order a few for you and your family members.  For more information, please see the "RLH tshirts" page on our website.  Order today!

We need your feedback as we begin to plan more events, so if you haven't already, please take a few moments to fill out our Family Survey.

Interested in being on our Advisory Board?  Want to be more involved in planning and pulling off our events?  You might want to consider checking out our "Volunteer Positions" page for information about available positions.  We have a great team, but we could use more help coming up with fun and interesting projects for our families.  Join our team now and be part of the excitement!

If you would like to be more involved but are not sure you want to commit to any of our available positions, we can always use committee help for individual projects.  If one of our upcoming projects looks particularly interesting to you, please consider contacting us about helping to run that specific event.
