Raising Little Heroes
November 2015

Reading to End Racism

Thanks to the Boulder YWCA for hosting an informative event! Lena and Emma from the YWCA provided helpful strategies for kids and families to be leaders in their actions when faced with racism and bullying. Interactive stories lead to interesting thoughts from our young heroes. A huge thanks to Noodles & Company for donating a yummy dinner!

Votives for Bridge House

November 14th  10:30-11:30am
Another one of our favorite projects is back- Votives for Bridge House's Thanksgiving meal. We plan to gather at the Meadows Library Space on November 14th to decorate glass jars that will be used as table decorations for Bridge House's annual Thanksgiving meal for the homeless. We will also collect new or gently used warm clothing for the Emergency Family Assistance Association (EFAA) of Boulder.  Click here for details!

Lunch Sacks for The Homeless
December 13th 3:30-4:30pm
We are gearing up for our biggest event, lunch sacks for the homeless. Last year this event was a big success as we came together to make a significant impact for those that could really use a meal packed with love. We hope to do the same again this year as we pack lunches for the Boulder Shelter for the Homeless! A huge thanks to Justin's, Moe's Broadway Bagels, Whole Foods and Snikiddy Snack for generous donations  that make this event possible! Join us on December 13th at 3:30 pm ready to decorate and pack a yummy lunch for those in need. Stay tuned for more details.
