The Santa Cruz Public Libraries 2018 Summer reading Program is off to a wild start! While summer reading for kids is really important to prevent learning loss, we know it's just as important for us adults to read and learn throughout our lives. Take advantage of your library's exciting reads, great programs, and learning opportunities to keep summer interesting. Here are just a few upcoming events:

Discover Your Neighborhood Sesquicentennial Local History Programs
Westside Santa Cruz History with Ross Gibson

Aptos History with John Hibble

BookBuddies Deliver!
Can't get to the library?

The Book Buddy program pairs homebound readers with SCPL volunteers who deliver and return library materials for individuals who can’t travel to/from the library. Sign up yourself or your homebound friend by emailing volunteer@santacruzpl.org.
