October 2016
Welcome to our monthly e-LINK updates

A time to celebrate!

We are so proud of the achievements of our students, achievements that are diverse and are recognised in many different ways. However, October is a special time in the College calendar as we celebrate particular academic achievements during our Graduation Ceremony. We celebrate with those who received College Awards and Prizes and with those who graduated with their Academic Awards (some of them pictured above).

Our graduation is not only a time to celebrate achievements but is also a time spent in worship together. This year the message was brought by NTC Alumni Revd Peter Read. Pete completed his MA with NTC a number of years ago and now serves as Vice Principal at Regents Theological College. During the Ceremony he brought an inspiring, challenging, and down-to-earth message from the story of Blind Bartimaeus in Mark 10:46-52, focusing on personal encounters with Jesus; an apt message for all of those present, not just graduands.

It's exciting to see where and how God has called our students to serve. Please continue to pray for them.

The date for the 2017 Graduation Ceremony is Saturday October 7th with Revd Dr Joel Edwards as our guest speaker. Save the date!

The Principal's Project

Each year the Principal selects a project to raise funds for.
Not a romantic project, but something necessary and additional to our normal budgeted project, this year we are hoping to build a new toilet block. This will make facilities on campus more accessible for families and for people with disabilities.

Register for the Creative Retreat Day

Using art works as starting points we will examine ways that we see and understand ourselves, often through the expectations of others or the roles that we fulfill in job or family. No artistic skills required, just a willingness to participate!
