Nazarene Theological College -
                     Be Part of the Community

This week NTC received sad news as Ruth Ross, NTC College Governor and Secretary to the Board of Governors, passed away suddenly on Monday 29th June while on holiday in California.

NTC Principal, Rev. Dr. Deirdre Brower Latz writes:

Dear Friends,

Many of you will be aware that our wonderful friend and governor Ruth Ross died suddenly this week. For those of you who do know that, thank you for praying for her family and friends, her local church and pastor. For others, I am writing to ask for your prayers to join ours.
Our hearts ache, and I know that we all have a sense of deep shock. And yet for those who know Ruth we are all aware that she has been so profoundly influential in shaping and inspiring, encouraging and demonstrating deep committed love for Christ and people.
As a college we join with others who are deeply sorrowful and yet we are also so immensely grateful for the privilege of having Ruth's life connect with ours. Her legacy will live on in so many ways.
I am writing to ask if you would continue to pray for her husband, Chris and their children Matt and Janet, Deborah and Moz and Philip - and for the wider family - her parents, brothers and sister and, of course, her beloved grandchildren.
I'd ask that you continue to pray for the Parkhead Church and its wonderful congregation and its leadership team as they pastor and grieve; the British Isles North District as it experiences the loss of a wonderful leader and the College as we mourn together. And most especially that all of us whose lives have been touched by Ruth's reveal more of the grace of God and the peace of Christ than we imagined could be possible.
Thank you once again for your prayers,

Deirdre Brower Latz and the NTC Team

Deirdre writes a weekly email update to share the news and life of the College. If you would like to be added to her email list then please email her by clicking here and providing your email address. She also writes a monthly blog on the NTC website.
