This past month has been one of continuous growth and excitement at Mitzvah Circle, and the hardworking team that comprises our Board of Directors is no exception!
Joining the team this June, we are delighted to welcome two new members to our Board of Directors: Levi Blair and Jody Katzner.
Both have considerable experience in finance and economics, and on top of their commitment to serving others without judgement, they are valuable additions to Mitzvah Circle’s growing family!
Born and raised in southern Indiana, Levi Blair is an alum of Indiana University with a background in finance and economics. After serving numerous overseas deployments in the U.S. Navy from 2005-2012, Levi became a management consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton and an investment banker at Kildare Capital.
Since then, Levi received his MBA from Villanova in 2015 and is currently a co-founder and partner at Merrion Square Capital, a boutique investment management firm focused on special situation investments.
A native of Bowling Green, OH, Jody Katzner graduated from Brown University in 1986 with a degree in Applied Mathematics and Economics. After moving to Cleveland, Jody worked various technology jobs at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), Progressive Insurance, Pioneer-Standard Electronics (now Agilysys), and National City Bank (now PNC).
Now Vice President with PNC and a manager in the Enterprise Project Management group, Jody focuses on projects in Lending Operations.
Outside of work, he just completed a two year term as President of B’nai Jeshurun Congregation, a 970 family synagogue located in Pepper Pike, Ohio. He and his wife Laura have been married for 27 years, and have two children, Jonathan and Dara.
We are thrilled that Levi and Jody have joined our team and are excited to see how they can help Mitzvah Circle serve our communities with respect and compassion well into the future!
