Taylor’s Experience

If we’ve have had a chance to meet yet, let me introduce myself! I’m Taylor. I’ve been interning with Mitzvah Circle Foundation since October 2016.

If you’ve dropped off donations or volunteered in our warehouse in the past year, there’s a good chance we’ve crossed paths.

As a non-profit administrative intern, my responsibilities have varied from leading groups of volunteers, to managing incoming donations, to preparing informational and promotional materials.

I was able to learn hands-on about non-profit management and poverty in our area. I’ve developed my public speaking and leadership skills, and discovered some graphic design talents I didn’t know I had!

The best part of my internships has been meeting the incredible staff and volunteers that work tirelessly to accomplish Mitzvah Circle Foundation’s mission.

My resume includes work at Disney World and the Philadelphia Zoo. If an interviewer asks, I say without hesitation that by far my favorite experience has been my journey with Mitzvah Circle Foundation!

My time here has been equal parts educational and rewarding. I’m inspired by the good I’ve witness with this organization and cannot stop singing Mitzvah Circle Foundation's praises. I even hosted my grad party here!

I graduated from Temple University in May of this year and have recently accepted a position with Habitat for Humanity Americorps. I look forward to applying the skills and knowledge I’ve gained at Mitzvah Circle Foundation to that position and beyond.

Don’t worry about missing me though—as I’ve told Fran many times, Mitzvah Circle Foundation isn’t getting rid of me anytime soon! If you see me around, don’t be afraid to say hi!
