Hear What She Has to Say
about Mitzvah Circle Foundation

It is not an easy task to put into words and appropriately describe my incredible experience as an intern at Mitzvah Circle Foundation over the past 6 months.
How often do you get to come home from work and think to yourself "I really made a difference today."?
Don’t get me wrong, the help is never enough, but it is a start and it is that thought which brought me back every week with the desire to do more.
As you can tell by my photo, I am not your typical twenty something intern.
I have had many years of volunteering experience in a number of different and wonderful organizations such as Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Church, Habitat for Humanity, Susan G. Komen, American Cancer Society, just to name a few.
But I have to say, none of them have touch me in quite the same way as the work being done at MCF.
I had the opportunity to pack boxes for individuals and families in need, sort clothing, organize diaper distributions, sort shoes, make Food 4 Hope bags with students, speak to people and learn their story and try to figure out how best we can help them.
While doing these things, I was always surrounded by some of the kindest and most compassionate people I have ever met.
Through the hard work and dedication of Fran, Rachel and Karen, Mitzvah Circle Foundation has managed to recruit the best volunteers in the area.
It is such a joy to go in and talk to everyone and at the same time get so much accomplished.
Great things are happening at MCF.
You need to come in, give a little of your time and keep the circle going.
I am very grateful for all I have learned and will truly miss my Mitzvah Circle Family.
