People in crisis often have very few choices or ways to move forward. This desperation can lead to crime, aggression and acts of violence.
The Religious Leaders Council of Greater Philadelphia recently recognized Mitzvah Circle Foundation as a “Zone of Peace” for its “exemplary efforts in addressing the root causes of violence in their community and beyond.”
Mitzvah Circle Foundation helps to alleviate the despair of people who are struggling by providing the personalized essentials that help break the cycle of crisis and poverty.
We encourage hope for people who have lost theirs, treating each person we serve with kindness and understanding.
In these ways, we address the root causes of the negative responses that often occur with hardship.
We serve people through tragedy with compassion. We know that there are times in our lives when we all will need help.
We heard this from a family we recently served:
There are no words to express our deep-felt gratitude for the amazing help you have been to our family. Your help with the things we have needed but have been unable to purchase ourselves is a true blessing. The clothing, school supplies, diapers and toiletries brought such a sigh of relief. We just loved the personal messages and drawings. It really warmed our hearts and helped us see the light in our tunnel of hard times. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
