Because of your time, talents and generosity, Mitzvah Circle Foundation reached 40,000 people in 2016, like Kate, a hard-working, single mother of a medically fragile son:
“We received our package today and I just wanted to thank you so much for everything!
I have been interviewing for a job now that my son’s health is under control and thanks to Mitzvah Circle, I have three new interview outfits and I am so very grateful!
I will not forget what Mitzvah Circle has done for me. I can’t wait until I’m back on my feet with a steady job and am able to give back to you!”
Sometimes all it takes is one package of essentials to meet critical needs and help someone regain control of their lives.
Other times people need ongoing support to keep going.
Mitzvah Circle Foundation knows that every person has unique needs, so we take the time to personalize the care we give.
Kate’s story is just one of many that highlight how personal our work is.
In 2016, with the help of 2,211 volunteers serving a total of 59,789 hours, Mitzvah Circle Foundation sent critical supplies 8,360 times to individuals and families struggling under the weight of poverty, crisis, homelessness, and serious illness.
We served 2,400 medically fragile people.
In addition to providing essentials like clothing, shoes, and toiletries through our Critical Needs program, our Diaper Bank distributed 900,737 diapers to infants and toddlers.
Mitzvah Circle Foundation is the only organization in southeastern PA that provides a full array of life’s necessities, delivers them directly, and meets the material needs of all ages.
With your support, compassion, and generosity, we provide a critical service that is like no other.
From all of us at Mitzvah Circle, thank you for another wonderful year!
