This Thanksgiving, We Share the Gratitude We Feel Every Day November 14, 2017
We’re grateful we can relieve some of the stress Whitney feels.
“I’m a single mother of a beautiful baby boy who happens to have Down Syndrome, and along with that came Congenital Heart Disease. He also was born with 2 different types of holes in his heart. At 5 weeks of age he underwent open heart surgery to repair the holes in his heart and spent 9 days at CHOP afterwards. Then he came home to recover and heal. He is my little champion! Due to all of his complications from the beginning and even now – we do therapy at home 3 times a week – it’s been very hard to maintain a job and trust that my son is in good hands. I am reaching out to you wonderful folks in hopes that you could possibly relieve some of my tension and stress. Thanks so much for your time and generous heart.”
We’re grateful we can do something tangible for people struggling in desperate situations.
Every day at Mitzvah Circle Foundation, we’re grateful. Driven by the pressing need for the service we provide, our team of 6 staff is grateful for our volunteers and donors. Your support means the world to us because you make serving possible.
