Make this Mother's Day One Your Family will Never Forget! April 25, 2017
When we think of our mothers, we think strong. We think resilient. We think compassionate. We think love.
These are traits moms have in common, but all mothers will tell you there are moments when they don’t have all the answers, and don’t know that everything will be OK.
Our mothers’ strength often protects us from knowing the difference.
There are women in your community right now who are struggling to stay strong and could really use your help this Mother’s Day.
What can you do to help?
Donate now, in honor of a mother in your life, to provide help when it is needed most.
For every dollar we raise, a generous donor has offered to match that amount, up to $10,000!
We’ll send a Mother’s Day card to that special mom recognizing your contribution. Your donation will change the story for a mom like Kayla, who wrote to us:
“I received my package today. I was moved to tears. My son and daughter and I have been desperate for shampoo, spring clothing and they needed shoes that fit. I just haven’t been able to buy any of these things – and didn’t know how I was going to. Now I don't have to. This came at the most needed time as I found out today my job decided to hire someone else after I injured myself instead of bringing me back. I need to look for work and can't afford a sitter. So this will help get us through. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will pay it forward when I get on my feet.”
There are people like Kayla struggling every day in our communities who do not have basic necessities for their family.
* You can help change this. Donate now to honor a special woman in your life this Mother’s Day, and you can transform childhood for a family in desperate need.
$18/month can help us provide dozens of moms with soap and baby wash to keep their children clean and healthy.
$25/month allows us to purchase new toothbrushes and toothpaste for the hundreds of moms and children we serve each year.
$50/month can help us meet the critical and immediate needs of someone struggling with illness.
Mitzvah Circle Foundation is a non-profit organization with the mission of providing critical necessities to individuals and families suffering from extreme poverty, homelessness, serious illness and crisis. You make our work possible!
