Walla Walla University Days
This week the senior class attended WWU Days.  Our seniors got a first hand look at the university and what it has to offer.  Students were allowed to observe classes, talk with professors, and make preparations for those who are planning to attend WWU next year.  Several of our seniors won the cyber scavenger hunt and got a $100.  It was a busy 3 days but we all got the blessings of being together as a class and to get the needed information for college prep.
Science Zone
By Mr. Wahlman, GSAA Science Teacher
On April 1, the Earth Science class had a field trip to the Succor Creek wilderness area to look at fossils.  They explored the sedimentary layers to find leaf prints and then hiked up a hill to find petrified wood.  It was a day full of discovery where geology supports the Bible and confirms that God is our Creator.
On Thursday Peaches, Jaime and Mr. Wahlman gave a presentation on cats for the elementary school's Week of Prayer.  CAES's theme for this week was COURAGE.  It takes courage to tell others what you believe.  So Mr. Wahlman talked about how we can take better care of our kitties.
Spiritual Note
"Our bodies are Christ's purchased possession, and we are not at liberty to do with them as we please. All who understand the laws of health should realize their obligation to obey these laws which God has established in their being. Obedience to the laws of health is to be made a matter of personal duty. We ourselves must suffer the results of violated law. We must individually answer to God for our habits and practices. Therefore the question with us is not, “What is the world's practice?” but, “How shall I as an individual treat the habitation that God has given me?"

Green Wheat

The heads of green wheat in our logo bring to mind growth towards sustenance and abundance that is not complete yet. Our GSAA students are growing, too, in all areas of their lives...intellectually, spiritually, socially, and physically.

At The Campus Bakery, we are working to equip our young people with real-life vocational skills that will allow them to gain independence and be of service to others throughout their lifetimes. Our purpose is to provide a safe learning environment that

 Identifies and nourishes our teens’ talents

 allows them to grow by experiencing challenges and triumphs in the work-place

 strengthens their relationships with our GSAA families, our alumni, and our neighbors
