Awards Chapel
Friday's chapel was a celebration of the accomplishments of GSAA students.  The awards given honored those who have excelled academically or made momentous growth in the various disciplines.  The awards started with English, then to history, Spanish, the cafeteria, science, math, Bible, and finishing up with music.  That evening there was a Spring concert and several national awards were handed out by the music dept.
Senior-Faculty Social at the Olive Garden
Staff and seniors spent a pleasant evening eating Italian food and socializing.  The year is quickly coming to an end and it was another opportunity to connect with the class of 2019.
Michael celebrated his birthday with the whole school in the cafeteria with everyone being treated to cake and ice cream.

Spiritual Note
"In the school of Christ students never graduate. Among the pupils are both the old and the young. Those who give heed to the instructions of the Divine Teacher constantly advance in wisdom, refinement, and nobility of soul, and thus they are prepared to enter that higher school, where advancement will continue throughout eternity...."

Spring is full of life with flowers blooming, insects crawling, and baby birds growing.  The baby birds are cute but their mothers know how to care for them.  PLEASE RESIST THE URGE TO TOUCH THEM OR PICK THEM UP.  Bothering them could end as a death sentence on them.  Parents won't come near them.  So let nature take care of its young.  Thank You.
