Registration Update

Registration will open Monday, August 2: We didn't want to bury the lede, but please read on because TGD Fall, like a lot of things in the world right now, is going to look a little different than usual.

Thanks for hanging in there for this overdue update; our plans are constantly in motion as we watch case counts, read updates from the CDC and local health departments, and try to be responsible gamers (is that an oxymoron?).  Let's start with what's going to look familiar.  TGD Fall will still have:

• A large open gaming area and access to the TGD game library
• Three days of gaming - Friday afternoon through Sunday Evening
• We will definitely have a play to win program and most likely a Saturday morning Flea Market
• Lots of great people to play awesome games with - just not as many as usual and maybe they'll be wearing a face mask.

Now for the less fun, but necessary detail stuff:

• We are asking that only vaccinated gamers attend TGD Fall.  Since this is a large public indoor event, we encourage face mask use during the event.
• Every attendee will be asked to sign a two part document asserting (1) that you have been vaccinated against Covid-19 and that (2) you realize that all public gatherings have inherent risk and hold TGPA harmless if you were to contract Covid during TGD Fall.
• As a result, attendees will be limited to those 12 years old and up for the Fall event.
• We will not have registration at the door; YOU MUST REGISTER AHEAD OF TIME for TGD Fall.  Attendance will also be smaller than usual (around 300 people), so it is likely we will sell out.
• Due to the need to register early and the fact that conditions are variable, we will refund any registrations up to one week before the event if you become uncomfortable with the public health landscape.
• We will also provide a Covid-19 symptom checklist and will ask everyone to perform a self screening before attending each day - please don't attend if you have symptoms, we will refund your admission rather than have you attend ill.

We still think TGD will be a lot of fun and a much needed reunion in October.  We will keep you updated on all our social media channels of any minor changes and by email updates of bigger issues.
