SOUP & STORYTELLING: POETRY & HALLOWEEN EDITIONS
John L. Dart librarian & story teller Julian Gooding performs a song at Soup & Storytelling on the balafon, a traditional African instrument from the 12th century that predates the modern xylophone.
To celebrate the Free Verse Festival, tomorrow's Soup & Storytelling (Tuesday, October 23rd / 5:30 - 7pm) is poetry-focused and showcases local poets from Words On Windows, a collaboration of public poetry on restaurant windows in the Upper Peninsula between Enough Pie and Free Verse Poetry Festival.

Featuring: April Duckworth, Dylan Duckworth, Asiah Mae, Dee Shanti, Marjory Wentworth, April Bandy-Taylor, and more.

SPECIAL CALL: We are seeking spooky storytellers for Tuesday, October 30th for a special Halloween edition of Soup & Storytelling.  Please email bennett@enoughpie.org if you have a scary tale you would like to share!

And if you haven't already, please us every Tuesday evening as Enough Pie and The Stone Soup Collective host a free gathering -- Soup & Storytelling -- in the Butterfly Book Nook, a pollinator garden built by the community across from the Food Lion on Upper King (First African Child Development Center, 1020 King Street).

Check out the event HERE.
