WAKE UP CALL

Pictured here: A 3am wake up call is delivered to this little girl, her mother and three older brothers, when a group of Israeli soldiers raided their home and turned it upside down to 'look for guns'.

REBUILDING ILLEGALITY

Pictured here: A particularly provocative Israeli settler smirks at human rights observers while settlers rebuild the recently demolished tent synagogue outpost. During this rebuilding the Jaabari family family have been subjected to 'price tag' attacks by settlers, including stone throwing and the destruction of their water supply (see below). Israeli soldiers were present and did not stop the rebuilding or the 'price tag' attacks.

THE 'PRICE'? WATER OF LIFE

Pictured here: In a 'price tag' attack for the demolition of the illegal tent synagogue, Israeli settlers cut the main water line which supplies water to the Jaabari family, on whose land the tent synagogue was built.

CHILDHOOD UNDER OCCUPATION

Pictured here: Ahmed - a good friend to many of the CPTers in Hebron. This little guy, older in nature than he should be - as many of the children in Hebron are - witnessed the the fatal shooting of the young Palestinian man, killed by Israeli border police by Ibrahimi mosque, a couple weeks ago. With these memories and images, he is still smiling. He is still going. He is still doing. He is still being.

AN UNWELCOME GUEST

Pictured here: An Israeli soldier who, along with five others, entered our home to use our rooftop to 'show the view' to incoming soldiers. CPTers explained that, as a nonviolent organisation, we did not like weapons in our home. After one soldier started filming us, a CPTer explained that she did not want to be filmed in her own home. A soldier responded that 'always YOU are filming US in our house'. After the CPTer replied that she had never been in their house, the soldier replied 'this whole country is our house....our house'.

A MILITARIZED BIKE RIDE

SUMUD CONTINUES

Pictured here: Two little girls sit on the steps of their home and watch as dozens of soldiers and settlers pass through the streets. Understandably, they looked a little somber at what they were watching - an image they see every week - but asking them if they would like to have their photo taken, and showing the photo to them afterwards, always brings a smile.
