Improving Everyday - Invisible Illness Awareness Forum

RCD and FS Financial Strategies Present FOUR Free Public RDSP Education Sessions on the Registered Disability Savings Plan:
Saturday March 21st                                          2:00 - 3:30 pm   (English)
Saturday April 18th                                             1:30 - 3:00pm   (Mandarin)
Saturday May 16th                                               2:00 - 3:30pm   (English)
Saturday June 13th                                             2:00 - 3:30pm   (Cantonese)
Please join us for refreshments and important education on the Registered Disability Savings Plan. Providing RDSP information ranging from eligibility, account opening and other related topics of RDSP processes and benefits for individuals and families. This course will provide a clear and easy understanding of the RDSP program to assist individuals with disabilities and their families make informed decisions to help create a safe, secure financial future.

 Did You Know?
  • The Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP) is a Canada-only savings plan designed specifically for people with disabilities and their families.
  • If you open an RDSP, depending on your family income, you may be entitled to receive up to $1000 per year in a Canada Disability Savings Bond (up to a lifetime maximum of $20,000) without having to make any personal contributions.
  • Furthermore, you could receive additional funds from the Canada Disability Savings Grants (up to a lifetime maximum of $70,000) if you do make contributions. This money will grow tax-deferred and any RDSP withdrawals will not affect any other BC disability benefits available to you or your family member.
