In the beginning, billions and billions of years ago, God didn't say we were 'perfect'. That would have been a curse.

Instead, God said we are 'good'. This was the original blessing that came before the original sin where we tried to understand perfection and be like God. 

Since the human mind started imagining this illusion of perfection, we've been quite a wreck. Trying to make ourselves, others, and our world into something we were never intended to and could never be.  

Striving for perfection is an exhausting existence.
Have you noticed?

We, along with all of existence, are good. Animals are fine with being good. Plants, trees, and crawling creatures are too. We humans aren't good with good, though.
Perfect is a curse.
But good is holy.
