Meet Our FACES Outreach coordinator!
Lynda Blades

Thanks to a USDA grant, our 2017 fiber artist, group, and business membership is free to those who reside on the DELMARVA Peninsula. We have hired an Outreach Coordinator, Lynda Blades, to assist in bringing your art to a broader audience and help the public find you and your work. Lynda can be reached at: OutreachCoordinator@fiberartscenter

What Does It Mean To be a Fiber Artist, Group or Business Member?
As a member, you will enjoy the benefits of being promoted through our website and social media outlets. You also have the option to market your art nationally in our online Etsy shop. Our community calendar will help fiber art enthusiasts find your events, classes, workshops lectures, and other programs. FACES, located in Denton, Maryland is also available for exhibits, classes, workshops, lectures, and other fiber arts related programs. Lynda will help you complete your directory profile and show you how to make entries to the FACES community calendar. She will take photographs of you and your items for use in the directory and will send you copies of the digital photographic files. The directory and calendar can be edited as needed. You can access your information to make changes personally or follow up with Lynda to help with your updates. If you are interested in teaching at FACES we will work with you to develop and schedule your class(es) at an agreed upon rate. FACES is committed to helping you grow and expand your reach to the public. The grant funding includes a marketing campaign that will actively promote the FACES directory, community calendar, and online marketplace to a regional area.
