Tis the Season: Quilts and Coverlets November 26th – January 7th, 2017. A display of winter-themed snowflake quilts, and red & green antique quilts and coverlets - collections from Kay Butler and Cathy Spence.
Fiber Arts Bazaar 2016: A Celebration of the Craft, November 26th – January 7th, 2017. Fiber Artists from around the Eastern Shore will be selling their work in the FACES gallery leading up to the holiday season. Find a wonderful, handmade gift for everyone on your list.
FACES will be closed through Thanksgiving for building maintenance and will re-open Friday, November 26, 12-4 pm.

FACES First Sunday Meet & Sew; Sunday, December 4, 1 pm-4 pm; $5 /members, $10/non-members; for 16 and up. Do you have a sewing or quilting project that’s just not getting done at home? Want to reduce the items in your mending basket, finish that quilt, sew the final bit of that dress? Meet like-minded individuals, help each other, and have fun finishing your projects!
Learn to Zentangle; Saturday, December 2, 9 am -11 am; Instructor – Charlotte Jordan; $30/members, $35 non-members; Beginner, intergenerational – open to all ages, ages 15 & under must be accompanied by a paying adult. Learn a new art form that is easy, relaxing, and fun! This art form is another way of patterned drawing. Anyone can do it!
Zentangle Holiday Project Class; Saturday, December 10, 9 am – 11 am; Instructor – Charlotte Jordan; $30/members, $35 non-members; Intergenerational - open to all ages. Ages 15 & under must be accompanied by a paying adult. Must have attended beginner class. If you want to use your tangling skills to create a special project, this class is for you. Attendees will need to bring their tools and will receive the supplies they need for the rest of the project. Bring your tools that you received from your beginner class.
More Zentangle; Saturday, December 17, 9 am-11 am; Instructor – Charlotte Jordan; $20 /members, $25 /non-members; Intergenerational - open to all ages. Ages 15 & under must be accompanied by a paying adult. Must have attended beginner class. Continue to learn a new art form that is easy, relaxing, and fun. Anyone can do it. Attendees will each receive five new tiles and a Graphic 1 pen.
Snowflake Blessings; Friday, January 13th, 10am – 3pm. Instructor - Kay Butler. Deck the halls with this lovely quilted snowflake wall-hanging and learn how to hand applique this wintry wonder! In this class you will learn how to hand applique using the back basting method eliminating the need for templates! This gives you an easy-to-sew portable project. The results will be beautiful and of heirloom quality. This class is appropriate for beginner/intermediate-level quilters. Ages 16 and up.

Volunteers Needed!
FACES is seeking volunteers to help with the following:
- FACES Coverage & Inventory - help us organize and utilize our donated fiber arts supplies and materials, during our opening hours, Thursday - Saturday 12-4 pm.
- FACES Class Administration - help us schedule and administer our classes.
- FACES Volunteer Coordination - help us recruit and schedule our volunteers.
- FACES Outreach Support - help us update our website, online events calendar, and regional directory.
