Children's Artwork Quilts
by Shannon Shirley of Once in the Rabbit Moon

on display through June 13, 2015

Quilts by their very nature, evoke a myriad of emotions, Shannon Shirley’s Children’s Artwork quilts reflect pure joy! You cannot help but smile when you look at the variety of textiles she has created to immortalize children’s creativity. Inspired by the work of her own children Shirley began looking for ways to preserve these precious materials in fabric. By experimenting with various techniques and art pieces, that combine quilting with the whimsy of childhood, she has found a way to capture the very essence of children’s talents and the inherent pride in their artwork.

Join us in the gallery to be  inspired by Shirley, children’s art, and fiber arts at their best!
