Vendors Needed


The Fiber Arts Center of the Eastern Shore is ramping up to hold our 2nd Holiday Bazaar featuring fiber artist from around the Eastern Shore. If you, or someone you know, is looking for a venue to sell handcrafted fiber art pieces, FACES has the event for you. We are looking for quilters, knitters, crocheter, embroiders, spinners, weavers, and all other artists that use fiber as their medium.

FACES Classes

November Classes at FACES! 

  • Holiday Table Runner & Placemats; 1pm-5pm, Sundays November 2nd & 9th, and 6pm-8pm Monday November 3rd, Instructor – Lynn Davis; $30; for ages 16&up. Ideal for beginners. Attendees will complete one table runner and six placemats using the “Crazy Shortcut Quilt” method, created by Marguerita McManus & Sarah Raffuse. More Info/Register
  • Knitting in the Round; 6-8pm, Tuesdays November 4th, 11th, & 18th, Instructor – Alida Greenhalgh; $40; for adults. Open to students who understand knitting basics. Students will learn how to successfully knit in the round by completing a hat project. More Info/Register
  • Parent and Child Sewing Project; 1-5pm, Sunday, November 16, Instructor – Donna Hayes; $15 per parent/child team; ages 8 & up. Student teams will make an easy throw pillow with a removable case. More Info/Register 
  • Basket Weaving; 1pm-4pm, Saturday November 22nd, Instructor – Heidi Wetzel; $15; for ages 8&up. Ideal for beginners. Attendees will complete a pencil holder from the materials supplied. More Info/Register
  • Sewing a Zipper; 1-5pm, Sunday, November 23, Instructor – Donna Hayes; $15; ages 8 & up. Student will learn 2 different sewing methods. Suitable for skirts, slacks, and can be adapted for pillows and other uses. More Info/Register

VOLUNTEERS WILL BE NEEDED:
Volunteers are needed to help at one of the following stations: check-in, physical documentation, photography, oral history, or check-out. Help is also needed for set-up and break-down. We will be asking for sign ups in our next newsletter.  You can also contact info@fiberartscenter.com for more information about volunteering.
