Art in General travels to Detroit, October 9–12, 2015!

Experience a city replete with artistic energy and cultural significance through Art in General's Detroit Tour. We are pleased to offer our members and friends the opportunity to explore the rich creative atmosphere of Detroit with events such as guided architectural tours, museum and studio visits, and much more!
The tour will begin at 2:00PM on Friday, October 9th and end after lunch on Monday, October 12th.
. Accommodations for the weekend will be at the chic Aloft Detroit, located within the renowned David Whitney Building in Detroit's Grand Circus Park Historic District. The cost of the trip is$2,500 which includes a $500 tax-deductible contribution to Art in General. The price also includes:
Hotel for 3 nights
Meals (3 lunches, 3 dinners) with pre-set menu
Architectural tour
Museum admissions
Heidelberg Tour
Group transportation to sites (Please note airfare to and from Detroit is not included)

Art in General travels to Prospect.1 New Orleans, October 30 – November 2, 2008
Art in General was founded in Lower Manhattan in 1981 and supports the production of new work by local and international artists primarily through its New Commissions Program and its International Collaborations program. Art in General also produces an annual symposium What Now? on critical and timely issues in artistic and curatorial practice.
