As many of you are aware Briars Sports Club President, Brett Howle, recently announced a restructuring of Briars Rugby administration with 2 new entities which replace the prior Rugby Committee.
There is now a Rugby Restoration Board
(RRB) consisting of Chairman Brett Howle plus Aaron Boyter, Kerry Constanti, Andy Hogg, Dave Lannan, Ash Simpson, John Slender and Chris Walker.
Some of you will notice there are 3 ex Rugby Chairmen on this Rugby Board, 2 ex Rugby Club Captains and 6 Gordon Bevan Shield winners.
Objectives, strategies, policies and finances will be determined by this Rugby Board.
In addition there is a Rugby Restoration Management Committee
(RRMC) consisting of numerous rugby players and supporters who will manage the implementation of the Rugby Board policies plus the numerous week to week activities associated with managing a rugby season. It is hoped that Briars future rugby leaders will come from this RRMC.
