JOB VACANCY AT CSBT - COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER

Salary:   Â£28,000 - £32,000 (initial 12 months fixed term contract)
Reporting to:   the Chief Executive, CSBT -  Paul Bright 
Location: Eden Project, St Austell

Working within a highly focussed small team, you will provide editorial, strategic, creative and operational support to promote CSBT Group activities and develop relationships and business within the sustainable construction sector for the Green Build Hub. The role must ensure that our communications are both influential and informative.

  • Decorating Older Buildings - Wednesday 14 May 2014 - 9.30 - 12.00 - with Phil Brown of Cornish Lime Company.  This session will cover painting and decorating older buildings using breathable and traditional decoration including lime wash. and BRE Global are pleased to provide a one day BIM training course on the 12th June 2014, at the Eden Project. The Government strategy for BIM implementation will change the dynamics within the construction supply chain. Green Light for Green Build Hub: 
We have had the first Project Management Workshop for the Green Build Hub to be built at the Eden Project.  The meeting took place on Tuesday 6 May.    For full details of this project go to:  www.csbt.org.uk/green-build.cfm.  

The Green Build Hub is part financed by the Convergence Programme for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly 2007-2013.  The Department for Communities and Local Government is the managing authority for the European Regional Development Fund Programme which is one of the funds established by the European Commission to help local areas stimulate their economic development by investing in projects which will support local businesses and create jobs.  For more information visit www.communities.gov.uk/erdf
