Green Build Hub Progress Update - July 2015
CSBT is delighted to announce that Practical Completion of the Green Build Hub at the Eden Project was achieved on Tuesday 28 July and we have moved into our new office. We now have until our planned launch in late September to co-ordinate our future programme of activity and to develop the interpretation scheme and monitoring installations to tell the story of the build and to showcase the collaborative partnerships involved in delivering this wonderful new BREEAM Outstanding building.
Paul Bright hands over to Greg Slater
We would also like to announce the retirement of Paul Bright as CEO of CSBT from 3rd July 2015.  Paul felt this was the right time to retire, having completed this inspiring building as a legacy for sustainable construction in Cornwall.  The CSBT Board has approved the appointment of Greg Slater as Interim Chief Executive.  Greg has been seconded from the Economic Development and Culture Team of Cornwall Council and has been involved with the Green Build Hub project from its conception, particularly supporting the project through the Convergence grant funding process (see below) and as Client Representative under the construction contract.  Along with the current staff and Board of CSBT he will be working on our strategy going forward with the next stage of the Green Build Hub - building and strengthening the sustainable construction sector in Cornwall and forging a positive collaboration with key partners such as the Eden Project and Cornwall College.
