Building our future at the Green Build Hub.
Eden provide site, ERDF gives green light.

The Green Build Hub has secured funding and is set to break ground on the Eden Project site location in the coming month!

This summer marks the realisation of a long held ambition for the Cornwall Sustainable Building Trust (CSBT). Construction starts on the landmark £1.4 million Green Build Hub (GBH) building thanks to an investment of £1.1 million from the European Regional Development Fund Convergence Programme.

GBH will:
  • Be a ‘living laboratory' where eco-building products will be installed, tested and monitored
  • Serve as a distinctive training centre
  • Encourage inward investment by companies such as specialist green suppliers by enabling them to showcase and test innovative products within the building.

CSBT Office Moves to Eden

Last Monday the Cornwall Sustainable Building Trust moved into their new offices based at the Eden Project. The move will not only enable them to be based literally around the corner from the chosen Green Build Hub site, during the build of the innovative project. It will also provide CSBT an ideal location for the growing team, with recent additions:

Nicole Solomons - European Project Manager (ECOBEE Project)
Gillian Horsley - CSBT Communications Officers

The building is located by the Fig & Leaf car park, near the Foundation Building.
