Believe it or not, somehow we've entered August - were you already aware? Some of us have lost track of the days and months this year! And while there are not yet any new events on the horizon, so far as we can see, we do have an event we must attend to in the present - the Cross. This might be a difficult time for some and if it is, know that we are here for you and to help you carry this cross, being a brother in Christ.
Below, there are a number of resources that might help you in your individual prayer and a couple of ideas that seek to just spruce up your life a little, if you want them to!
If you're in need of extra support this lockdown, do not hesitate to reach out to close friends, your Parish community or the CYBB Team.
In faith, hope and love, Alex Leach (CYBB Team Leader)

Tips for Prayer! No one minds a little extra assistance, right? Here are some great apps designed to help you in prayer!
- Laudate (Free): gives you access to Scripture readings, meditations, Saints of the day, Divine Mercy Chaplet, Rosary and Holy Spirit Chaplet, and other set prayers. Perfect if you're keen to learn something new! - Universalis (one time payment of $15.00): gives you the daily readings at Mass and extra prayers for throughout the day called the Liturgy of the Hours. Great for Scripture lovers (and great if you're not sure where to start, too)! - Hallow (monthly cost of $7.00): offers much in common, plus more. With a selection of prayerful music, homilies, examens, Scripture passages read out loud by various Catholic Speakers (with a bedtime stories edition to help you fall asleep), daily reminders and spaces for journaling, this is a top place for guided prayer!
