Dear friends,

HAPPY NEW YEAR! And so begins another 365 days, normally greeted with thousands of people stopping momentarily to stare at a TV screen or late night sky just to say good morning to some well-timed colour-coordinated fireworks down the Parramatta river. Every year we watch it in community but, for me, it's somewhat lonesome. I'm mesmerized by fireworks and it drives me into contemplation of beauty and gratitude and I'm moved with an overwhelming sense that there can not NOT be a God. So much aesthetic, so much goodness just exploding to life purely for the enjoyment of our eyes. When I see fireworks, I see love. I'm reminded of God's love and I spiral into thoughts of the Divine plans God must have for me.

I wonder how you normally feel at the beginning of a new year. When the fireworks are done and before you go to sleep are you sad, excited, thoughtful, fearful?? Take those thoughts and feelings about this new year and gather them in your heart. And press your heart against the Heart of Jesus. Be loved. Be comforted. And be at peace.

He's got a Divine plan for us all!

Praying for you and we'll keep you updated about opportunities and events throughout the year!

God bless,
