Dear CYBBies,

Happy New Year!
We pray that this year will be full of countless blessings for you and your loved ones with just enough challenges to allow you to grow.

We have so many exciting things in store for you in 2018 but don't forget that we are also in the Year of Youth! The CYBB Year of Youth Pilgrim Cross will be travelling around the diocese and staying with each parish throughout the year, so keep an eye out for when the cross will be coming to your parish community and how you can get involved.

Discussions have also started about World Youth Day, and to get everyone excited about Panama 2019 we are hosting a WYD Launch! Check out the details below along with some key WYD dates for the year ahead.

We can't wait to see you at some of our events!

God Bless

We cannot wait to hear about your plans so let us know by sending us a message or coming along to our first CYBB Training Day for the year to brainstorm, get more ideas or get some help with how to make these things happen!

Our first event is a movie night and acyf pilgrim reunion/recap on Sunday, 21st January at Pittwater Parish. Come join us for Mass at 6pm, followed by some time to hang out with old and new friends, supper and chill out with a movie. We will finish around 9:30pm. See you there!
Salvatorian Vocation Reflection Day

The Year of Youth in Australia brings you new opportunities to learn more about your faith, make new friends and discern your vocation in life! The Salvatorian Fathers invite all young men to come and join us to also learn more about Fr Francis Jordan (Founder of Salvatorians) and the Salvatorian Society!! Hope to see you there!
Having youth events in your parish? Let us know so we can include it in our next enews (plus we love to hear what you're doing)!

The New Year calls for a new playlist. How about listening to our new Year of Youth playlists on Spotify! Feeling like some Praise music? What about Worship instead? Maybe even start thinking about how to integrate some of these songs into liturgies in your own parish! Which one is your favourite?
Sunday 14 January was the World Day for Migrants and Refugees where Pope Francis called for a unified response "to welcome, to protect, to promote and to integrate". To read his homily and to find out more about how we can do our part for migrants and refugees, click here.
Feeling nostalgic about ACYF? Why not watch some of the highlights from the festival or how the Church of Australia kicked off the Year of Youth and the festival with the Opening Plenary Session.
