Carnival Cruise Ship Hits Manhattan Dock

People Are Talking: Your Least Favorite Caribbean Ports

Using data from over 40,000 cruise reviews submitted since 2015, our experts put together our list of the 5 least popular Caribbean ports. Still, we wanted to know what ports our Facebook fans love to hate and we have to say we were a bit surprised that Nassau topped that list.

"Nassau is one of our least favorite. Ports in Martinique and Bonaire are right there as our least favorites." - Karen Ahr

"Got off in Nassau once, and have never bothered to get off the ship again (we’ve sailed over a dozen times). It’s a shame, too. Doesn’t seem like [any] of the “tourist money” goes back to the community - at all!" - Lynne Brown

"Freeport is almost always at the bottom of the list. I will be interested to see how it fairs after Carnival opens it private beach." - Kevin Tapee

"Dominica. Had a guard to protect us on a river cruise... didn’t feel safe there." - Sue Mischler

"Cozumel, been there too many times." - Allan Shear

"Nassau they should remove it from the itinerary." - Debbie Wood

Ship Tip: Carnival Breeze

"Do not get a cove balcony (at least not #2385). Just above us was some kind of working floor, so all night long we heard footsteps, things being rolled, and things being dropped. It was ridiculous. Glad I thought to bring my ear plugs." - sixmartins
