Video: Cruise Ship Hits Four Luxury Yachts

People Are Talking: What do you do first when you board the ship?

Last week we asked the following question on Facebook and Instagram:

What do you do when you first board the cruise ship?

A: Eat lunch in the buffet
B: Order a drink to get the party started
C: Walk around the ship to familiarize yourself with it
D: Go to your cabin and start unpacking

We got a great variety of answers, and there were people from all four camps that replied in the comments section. However, the most common answers were A and B — it seems that our fans love to sip a drink and grab a bite to eat right when they step on board!

"We are always on the ship first thing, so WAY before cabins are ready. So would be B - we head to the pool, get a lounger and order our first cocktail." - Karen Ahr

"Pretty much that order: A lunch buffet since cabin not ready, B order drink at lunch, C walk around a little, D then cabin usually ready, unpack."  - Anita Gorham Pederson

"Go to our cabin to get rid of our carry on luggage, then go to the buffet to get some lunch, then explore the ship. We don’t drink and are not party people so that is out." - Ginny Sperry-Wilbur

"Grab a cocktail and hop in the pool/hot tub. We wear our bathing suits under our clothes." - Heidi Stream

Ship Tip: Norwegian Bliss

"Get a balcony cabin! We had a mini-suite and the only difference was the larger bathroom/shower and a slightly larger balcony. This might or might not be worth the difference in price to you." - DightonBlue
