Our kit is $62. It includes a set of 6 mini skeins of Malabrigo Sock, our main color (lavender lune), and the pattern.
The pattern is mystery and the first part of the pattern will be revealed on August 26th. Yes, that means you can't see the pattern before you buy the kit. If that makes you uncomfortable, this might not be the project for you!
As you think about participating in this year's PEEP Mystery KAL/CAL, here’s a bit of info about the projects:
Riverfront, designed by Scott from The Yarnery, is a gender-neutral rectangular scarf.
I am knitting it now and I'm loving it!
The pattern is accessible enough for an inexperienced knitter, and engaging to a more advanced knitter. You need to be able to do three things: knit, slip a stitch purlwise, and count (there are no pattern repeats in the entire pattern). You'll need a US 4 (3.5 mm) 32" or 40" circular needle. We'll share more info as we get closer to cast-on day, August 26.
The crochet pattern, Oceanfront, is a rectangular scarf in two widths. Designed by Laura from 3 Kittens Needle Arts, the scarf uses basic crochet stitches (single crochet, half double crochet, and double crochet). If you can count, you can crochet this scarf! You'll need a size G hook - and your PEEP kit, of course...
