Christmas Stocking Class
One of the biggest things we've missed since March are our classes. We miss the energy new students bring to the shop. We miss the light bulb moments that we get to witness, we miss the conversations!
Well, we've decided to dip our toe in the pool.
Join us for this 3 session hybrid learning Christmas Stocking Class.
If you've known us for a few years, you know that our favorite class is the Christmas Stocking Class. Nancy Lindberg's Christmas Sock pattern is the best. We decided this would be a good one to try out as a hybrid model. Our Nanny Jean would be happy. She was the Christmas Stocking knitter of the family. Every new member of the Doyle Clan earned a hand knit stocking from our Nan. Carly and I have now become the stocking makers and we couldn’t be prouder. She would be so happy we are carrying on her tradition.
We'll meet once a week on a 1.5 hour zoom call (Mondays Sept 21st, 28th & Oct 5th at 10am or 6pm). We'll teach you a new technique, chart reading, stranded color work, afterthought heel, kitchener stitch. Then, you'll also get one 30 minute in person class per week to ask questions face to face. We'll limit these in person visits to 3 people at a time in our classroom. We have enough room to be at least 6 feet apart in the classroom. Masks will of course be required. If you don't need the in person time, you can opt to not come in.
By registering for the "in person" class, you will automatically get the zoom call invitation. We will contact you to see if the 10am or 6pm time is best for you.
If this works, we'll try to do more sessions this fall!
You’ll learn how to follow a chart and basic sock construction in this class. We promise, it’s easier than you think!
Welcome back to school!!
