Fixers - A Chance for Young People to Lead Their Own Projects

Young people in the Westcountry have worked on some extremely powerful projects and campaigns with the charity Fixers this year. Young people in Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Dorset in 2015 have tackled issues from mental health, gender identity, abusive relationships and M.E to young carers, cyber bullying and politics.

Fixers want to continue to work alongside schools and other youth organisations/projects to give the young people they work with the chance to have their voice heard through a project supported by @FixersUK.

Young people work with Fixers at their own pace and are supported throughout by a dedicated Youth Project Co-ordinator. They take ownership of their projects, at no cost to them or the organisations they are often linked to. The only requirement is they are aged 16-25 and that the project helps at least one other person.
