To the members of the Makerspace,

The Board of Directors and I agree that, with the emergency order from NH state government to prohibit gatherings of 10 or more people, the current limit of members allowed in the space at once should be 9 people.  Based on the level of traffic in recent weeks, we do not expect this to pose a significant burden on our members; however, to stay compliant with state guidelines, we are imposing a temporary maximum capacity of 9 members until further notice.

We ask that members take care to observe this policy and self-regulate.  Please be aware of the number of people around you, and always maintain 6 feet of distance between you and other members.  Please check in with our General Manager, Alex, who can inform you to our status as it relates to member capacity at any given time.  Please maintain adequate separation distance when engaging with Alex.

If you see that there are already 9 cars in the lot, we ask that you please wait awhile for someone to leave, or turn around and head home.

Additionally, as a reminder of the precautions we are taking, please read the following:
  • Please maintain a safe social distance from others while working in the space; 6 ft of separation is the guideline we are adhering to.  Avoid personal contact like handshaking, hugging, touching other peoples phones.  Disinfect tools before sharing them with others.
  • Please wash your hands with soap, frequently.
  • We will be disinfecting commonly touched surfaces at the makerspace daily.  Please help by pitching in and disinfect the surfaces you touch at the end of your work session.
  • If you are sick, or in close contact with a sick individual, please stay home.
  • If you are diagnosed with COVID-19, or in close contact with someone who has been diagnosed, we strongly encourage you to self-report this to Alex, our general manager.  We understand concerns for reasons of privacy; if you prefer, please feel free to ask your doctor to contact us anonymously on your behalf.  We will make no record of your identity; only that an individual was working at the space at a particular date and time who was diagnosed with COVID-19, so the information can be shared with members to make informed decisions for themselves.

Thank you for being a part of our community, and working with us to stay healthy and productive.  If you have questions, please call us at 603-373-1002 or email us at
