Overstimulation During the Holidays

"As an autistic young adult, I've been through quite a few holidays. I love spending time with my friends and family, but overstimulation can occur, even in the most joyful times. Over the years, I did learn a few things that enabled me to lower my stress level and still partake in the festivities."

Hosting a Sensory Friendly Event

A sensory friendly event is designed to eliminate or reduce
sensory overstimulation.  Sensory friendly events make it easier for individuals who have sensory sensitivities to enjoy and participate in events and gatherings.
