We had very special visitors at Great Lakes Academy this month! On Wednesday, January 13, the award winning Axiom Brass Quintet came to perform for our students thanks to a partnership with Ravinia's REACH*TEACH*PLAY Education Programs. For more pictures visit our blog here!
A special thanks to our parent volunteers who helped make Winter Fest a fun time for our scholars! After a long week of testing we celebrated the winter season with a snowflake station where scholars make their very own snowflakes, cookie decorating and winter gear relay races! Keep an eye on our blog for more photos!

Get to Know... Ms. Stapleton!
Name: Kelly Stapleton Title: First Grade Teacher in Marquette 1. My favorite thing about GLA is working with the teachers and the scholars!
2. My scholars would be surprised to know that I love burritos!
3. If I could be any animal I would be a baby tiger.
4. My greatest hope is that my scholars grow up to be good people and be anything they want to be!
