Keep (Y)Our Shanties On!

Art Shanty Projects Benefit at Fulton Brewery

For the past decade, Art Shanty Projects has organized a month-long winter public art happening that transforms a frozen lake into an interactive, artist-driven community. Suspension of the 2015 On-Ice Program has left Minnesotan's in the cold and wondering: “Where (and when) will the shanties turn up next?”

Find us on February 28 at the Fulton Brewery in Northeast Minneapolis—the heart of the Minneapolis Arts District. With a newly obtained 501(c)(3) nonprofit status, the board of directors is throwing a 'Keep (Y)Our Shanties On' benefit to raise funds and engagement for 2016’s planned On-Ice Program, and for future initiatives made possible by our official nonprofit status.

February 28, 2015
Where: Fulton Brewery, 2540-2nd St. NE, Minneapolis
Time: 5 – 9 p.m.
Tickets: $15 in advance available at Brown Paper Tickets or through  or $20 at the door. The price of admission also nets attendees one free drink, including the opportunity to try Fulton's limited edition infusion beer crafted for the event!

Keeping with its nonprofit mission, Art Shanty Projects will transform Fulton's communal spaces into imaginative environments. The evening promises to be filled with entertainment by local musicians, special appearances by former shanty artists, raffle opportunities to win local art and other prizes, and food and beverage sales—all to benefit the organization.

You can also RSVP your attendance and invite your friends using our Facebook Invitation. Hope to see you all in February at the Fulton Brewery.
