The NSRF programme allows communities to identify their own priority infrastructure projects, and particularly encourages partnerships between not-for-profit organisations, local, state and territory governments, as well as, the private sector.

Moreton Bay Innovation Awards winners announced

A green innovation was named Innovation of the Year at the first ever Moreton Bay Innovation Awards, announced at a Gala Awards Event in Caboolture on 5th February.

The Innovation of the Year major prize of $10,000 and a money-can’t-buy guest appearance on Australia’s most popular podcast ‘The Mark Bouris Show’ was awarded to Highvale based company Impact Building Systems Pty Ltd for their entry ‘Solar Combined Heat and Power’, which captures the heat of the sun to produce heat and steam and power a range of agricultural, industrial, mining and municipal processes.  READ MORE >

Startups started starting up!

The highly anticipated Startup Moreton Bay Region kicked off on the weekend of the 6th and 7th February, 2016 at Yuraba at Eatons Hill funded by Regional Development Australia (RDA) Moreton Bay and the Queensland Government.

Apply now for Harmony Day and National Youth Week funding

Moreton Bay Regional Council has established a Community Partnerships Fund and is calling on expressions of interest from local community organisations and businesses to partner with Council to deliver a suite of initiatives as part of Harmony Day and National Youth Week in 2016.

Up to $2,000 in funding is available to support initiatives which align with the values and objectives of both Harmony Day and National Youth Week.

What is Regional Development Australia Moreton Bay?

Regional Development Australia Moreton Bay (RDAMB) is part of a national network of organisations, which in Queensland is funded through the Australian Government to promote the economic development of the Moreton Bay region.

The role of RDAMB is to:

  • Develop and implement a Regional Plan
  • Provide advice on critical issues affecting the region
  • Identify and implement initiatives to tackle the region's economic development priorities
  • Generate project proposals for the National Stronger Regions Fund
  • Promote Australian Government Programs.
